Aldeenaary heads to Australia

4-year-old Aldeenaary is on the next plane to Australia having won on debut at Nottingham. He was sold for 12,000GNS to Roger Teal in February this year as a cast off from Shadwell having previously cost 400,000GNS as a yearling. A half-brother to multiple stakes performers, he’s also a half-brother to non other than Irish 2000 Guineas winner Phoenix Of Spain.
Aldeenaary beat the once raced Nigwa by a head at Nottingham over 10 furlongs with a very taking display, coming from off of a slow pace and getting his head in front where it mattered. Nigwa has since franked the form by winning on her next start.
Aldeenaary will now head to the stable of John O’Shea at Randwick in Sydney.
