2-year-olds of 2022 bought as yearlings or breeze-ups by JS Bloodstock have been winning on the track for a variety of  different trainers. Tom Clover has enjoyed success with the 91 rated Rogue Spirit, who has won twice this year and was 3rd in The Super Sprint, he was a relatively in-expensive purchase at 12,000GNS. The same owners of Rogue Spirit have also enjoyed some big days out with Rogue Lightning, a 44,000GNS breeze-up purchase, who won on debut at Newmarket by 4 lengths and followed that up with a 2nd in the Listed Rosebowl Stakes at Newbury. Tally-Ho Stud has regularly topped the list of vendors at this year's European breeze-up sales and the O'Callaghan family sold an Exceed And Excel colt who interrupted the procession of fillies selling for in excess of €200,000. Billy Jackson-Stops, acting on behalf of owner Michael Blencowe, who has Imperial Fighter in Saturday's Irish 2,000 Guineas, went to €260,000 to secure the half-brother to Group 3 winner Dibajj and Listed winner Black Sea. Glens Top Cat – privately purchased for OTI Racing and to be trained by Matt Cumani in Australia, Glens Top Cat had just the one start in UK before being purchased. He finished a short head second on debut to the 85 rated Velazquez. He looks like a horse with a lot of natural talent and we look forward to watching him perform in Australia....

The Tattersalls and Goffs Horses-In-Training sales have come to an end and it has proven to be a success with a number of purchases being made at both sales. The highlights of which were firstly Hanaady from Tattersalls, who was bought for £120k to go to Australia to be trained by Matt Cumani. Matt boasts 10 years of varied and intensive experience under the tutelage of some of the worlds most celebrated trainers and we’ve had a lot of success together, with the likes of Crambourne Cup winner Future Score and Group 3 placed Taramansour who was bought from Goffs last year. Secondly was Silaiyli from Goffs, who will be going to trainer Ibrahim Al Malki in Qatar, he cost £57k and he is an exciting horse who should have a big future in Qatar if he continues to perform as he has done in Ireland this...

Last week we were delighted to purchase the Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed Tilsit to stand in Turkey for The Turkish Jockey Club. Tilsit, a son of Group 1 winner First Defence, is out of a half sister to Champion miler Kingman and as a result has all the credentials on paper to have a successful career at Stud. Tilsit, trained by Charlie Hills, won three of his eight starts including winning the Group 2 Summer Mile, the Group 3 Thoroughbred Stakes and was placed second in the Group 1 Prix d’Ispahan at Longchamp. He achieved a highest official rating of 114 and was quoted by timeform to be a ‘Strong, rangy colt: very smart performer’....
