  After a long winter, it's great to have the flat turf season firmly underway with two winners in March. Thomas Cochrane looks an exciting prospect for the season ahead after winning on his second appearance at Kempton. The 3 year old gelding by War Command was purchased by JS Bloodstock/Tom Clover on behalf of the Thomas Cochrane Partnership at Book 2 of the October yearling sales at Tattersalls. Another Book 2 purchase, George Peabody has begun his 3 year old career in earnest by putting the field to bed in decisive style at Doncaster at the first turf meeting of the year. The son of Holy Roman Emperor was purchased for the Gredley Family by JS Bloodstock and looks an exciting prospect going forward....

  The two year old son of Iffraaj trained by Tom Clover put the field to bed when winning decisively on only his second start at Kempton last month. Purchased at the Craven Breeze up sale from Powerstown stud for the Rogues Gallery Syndicate he looks one to keep an eye on this season....

  Ibn Arabi showed much promise after her loped home for a 6 length win in a maiden at Wolverhampton last month. The George Scott trained 3 year old gelding by No Nay Never was bought as a breeze up purchase off the excellent nursery Greenhills farm.  He looks an exciting horse with plenty of scope to progress and one to watch as the turf season begins next month....

  The 2yo filly by exciting first season sire Divine Prophet (Choisir) demonstrated her early talent when winning at Morphettville at the back end of last year. She had finished second on both her previous starts and her timely victory meant her owners benefitted from the first season sire bonus.  Offered by Aquis farm at the 2020 Magic Millions yearling sale she was sold with the promise of her ‘Purchase Price Back’ should she win a Saturday Metropolitan race before next year’s renewal on the Gold Coast. The incentive offered to promote Divine Prophet’s first yearlings was well received and as a result Bleroit has already earnt her owners $210,000 after just three starts....

  Wallem showed class on his seasonal debut yesterday at Wolverhampton by winning easily to shed his maiden tag on just his third start for trainer Andrew Balding.  A son of Sea The Moon, Wallem looks a progressive type to go forward with, showing distinct promise for his connections. Purchased by JS Bloodstock at the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale, he looks a type who will only improve with time and we look forward to the approaching flat season....

  An Ascot breeze up purchase from Malcolm Bastard last year, Rockett Man lived up to his name by putting the field to bed in decisive style at Chelmsford. The 3 year old colt by Equiano is owned by the Rogues Gallery syndicate and he looks  to be shaping into a fun horse for the season. We wish his owners every success this year....

  The bay gelding by Sepoy, bought by JS Bloodstock as a yearling, stormed home for a third win in as many runs for his new connections in Qatar to continue his unbeaten streak. He repaid his previous owners by returning a profit after selling for 67,000 guineas at the Autumn HIT sale last year having been purchased for a much less princely sum....

  Purchased from the Goffs HIT sale, Taramansour (previously trained by Dermot Weld) is set to head down under to continue his career under the guidance of trainer Matt Cumani. Taramansour (Dansili) has an official rating of 92 and hones from a strong Aga Khan family.  His current form will fit the Australian profile nicely and we look forward to following his future successes on the track.      ...
